Keep in mind when buying gluten-free oat flour, you need to make sure that you purchase the kind that specifically states that it is certified gluten-free. If you don’t there is a possibility that the oat flour will not be gluten-free. This is because of cross-contamination in the processing plant.
This may not matter for some of you if you don’t have Celiac disease. This kind is certified gluten-free. If you want to make your own oat flour just put some old fashioned oats in a blender and blend them until they look like flour. It’s that simple. Way cheaper than buying oat flour.
Most of the oat flour recipes that I could find were either a breakfast food or a dessert. I’m not sure why that is, but I’m not complaining since I’m always looking for new gluten-free breakfast recipes.
I do know that from my experience I always feel full longer when I eat oatmeal so maybe that is one of the reasons why there are so many breakfast foods that use oat flour. If you really don’t like pumpkin you can substitute ripe mashed bananas for the pumpkin.

This molten lava cake is really easy but the best part is the surprise “magic” sauce this creates. The ooey gooey center that erupts when you cut into it is so much fun. It goes so well with ice cream! I definitely recommend you eat it hot. My daughter loves to make this cake, she makes it all the time. That’s how easy it is to make. We love to make it quite often, especially when we want to impress family or friends.

It only takes about 5 minutes to make these pancakes in the blender. Then they are topped with a creamy peanut butter syrup. Both the syrup and the pancakes have Greek yogurt in them. The yogurt helps make them healthy and makes it possible to make them really low in sugar.
I think they taste like banana bread with peanut butter on top. They are very filling and satisfying without giving you a sugar rush or making you feel sluggish and heavy. I make mine in my magic bullet which is really easy. They just might make you want to change up your current breakfast routine.

This oat flour peppermint brownie recipe is a great example of a dessert which can be gluten-free and dairy-free and still be a very delicious indulgent recipe. Give this recipe a try and you might be adding this to your list of permnant dessert recipes.
5. The BEST Healthy Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies – Chelsea’s Messy Apron
This recipe has a lot of simple ingredients mixed together in a quick cookie dough. Instead of traditional flour, it calls for oats flour which is as easy as blending oats to a powder form. The recipe also uses whole oats as well.

This is a recipe for a delicious healthy oatmeal muffin that uses oat flour and oats. This would be a great recipe to make a batch of and have breakfast or snack prepared for whenever you want it.
