I love hummus and I could go on and on about how healthy it is and how easy it is to make, but I won’t. I do know some people including my kids that don’t like the tahini in hummus. So, I came up with this delicious homemade version of hummus that doesn’t have tahini in it. It takes 5 minutes to make it unless you pop the skins off, that takes a few minutes longer.
I love no bake foods and I like bar cookies. I don’t have to spend all that time forming the dough into little shapes. It saves so much time. The only added sugar to these is maple syrup or honey if you prefer. They don’t need much because the dates add a lot of sweetness. My kids love them. I like to make them because I don’t have to worry about them getting too much sugar when they eat these.
