I had a hard time sorting through all of the gluten free dinner recipes I could find because so many of them were not main dishes, just side dishes even though other bloggers categorized them as main dishes, they only side dishes. To me a main dish dinner recipes need to include a protein, a carb and a vegetable or fruit. I tried to sort through all of the recipes and put only the best ones on this blog post. I tried to find recipes in all three of these food groups but a few of them may be missing a food group so you can just add the vegetables or rice if you want to.
Notice that I have about 5 of my original gluten free recipes here and if you would like more of my original gluten free dinner recipes check out part 1 and part 2 because they have some too. Part 1 has a whole bunch of my original gluten free main dishes recipes.
If you have children they are going to love my gluten free mac and cheese recipe, it is also dairy free and my kids love it, they think it tastes better than a mac and cheese recipe with pasta and cheese in it and it certainly is a lot more healthy.
I also think you will love my pot roast recipe with chimichurri sauce, that chimichurri sauce is to die for. It’s true my husband did say he could drink it straight, he loves it so much. I planted basil in my garden just so I would have enough to make it any time I wanted during the summer. I also like it made with cilantro instead of basil which works just fine, sometimes I actually like it with cilantro rather than basil and cilantro is a lot cheaper to buy and easier to find in the store. The only basil I’ve found in a grocery store is a living plant in soil and I think that is just weird. I assume that is the only way they can keep it fresh and edible.
Well I guess that is enough babbling and I should just let you get on with your life and decide which of all these recipes you are going to try. I hope you find several you enjoy1
