My grandmother and mom have been making this banana bread all their lives. I’m not sure where my grandma got it but knowing her, probably from a friend or neighbor. Her mother died when she was eight years and her dad never re-married so I’m sure she didn’t get it from her mother. It’s one of the best banana bread recipes in the world. It’s absolutely foolproof. I’ve made it a ton of times and it has always turned out well. I even tried altering the amount of banana or flour and it didn’t make much difference. These are foolproof apparently.
2. The Best Ever Super Moist Banana Bread – Gimme Delicious
When using bananas in your baking, always use the ripest bananas you can stand to use. I know sometimes they get too nasty. Ripe bananas are sweeter than green bananas. That makes it so you can use less sugar. At least I like to use less sugar. I don’t like my dessert too sweet. That’s why I don’t put frosting on top of mine. Chocolate in this gives it just the right amount of sweetness, in my opinion anyway.

It’s also refined sugar-free since it’s made with honey. That’s important to some people. The applesauce also makes it so you don’t need oil or as much honey. This stuff is almost healthy!
