One of my pet peeves, when I am searching trying to find good recipes on my blog, is that when I search for gluten-free. I get a ton of recipes that are Paleo, Vegan, and dairy-free. Seriously, you wouldn’t believe how many of those come up because they are also gluten-free. That annoys me. For your sake, I tried to weed those out. I don’t think most people that have to eat gluten-free also eat dairy-free or Vegan. There are some here that are refined sugar-free, but in my opinion, that is just eating healthy. If you want Paleo recipes, go to my other blog, it’s called mynaturalfamily.com.
There are so many recipes here that you are not going to be able to make up your mind. You are going to have to try them all. Remember that variety is the spice of life. I hope you enjoy them.

Best Gluten Free Banana Bread Recipes
1. Easy Banana Bread – Gluten Free Daddy
My grandmother and mom have been making this banana bread all their lives. I’m not sure where my grandma got it but knowing her, probably from a friend or neighbor. Her mother died when she was eight years and her dad never re-married so I’m sure she didn’t get it from her mother. It’s one of the best banana bread recipes in the world. It’s absolutely foolproof. I’ve made it a ton of times and it has always turned out well. I even tried altering the amount of banana or flour and it didn’t make much difference. These are foolproof apparently.
2. The Best Ever Super Moist Banana Bread – Gimme Delicious
When using bananas in your baking, always use the ripest bananas you can stand to use. I know sometimes they get too nasty. Ripe bananas are sweeter than green bananas. That makes it so you can use less sugar. At least I like to use less sugar. I don’t like my dessert too sweet. That’s why I don’t put frosting on top of mine. Chocolate in this gives it just the right amount of sweetness, in my opinion anyway.
3. Banana Blender Bread – Laughter and Lemonade
I never thought of making bread in the blender but that sure sounds easy to me! Notice the texture in the picture of this. It is so smooth and even with no chunks or anything. That may be a good or a bad thing depending on who you are and what your preferences are. It’s Easy peasy though. The directions say something like, add all the ingredient to the blender. Blend, Pour into pan and bake for 35-40 minutes.
4. Almond Chocolate Chip Banana Bread – Because Food is Love
This moist bread is a healthier option because it doesn’t have any added sugar besides the chocolate chips. I don’t think you’ll even miss the sugar or the wheat flour. Unlike traditional bread, it doesn’t have a beautiful smooth round top dome. What it does have is the same wonderful aroma that fills your house while your baking it.
5. Banana Pistachio Bread with Cream Cheese Chocolate Frosting – Scrummy Lane
Butter – Brown Sugar – Eggs – Bananas – Greek Yogurt – Gluten-Free Flour – Almond Flour – Pistachio Nuts – Cream Cheese – White Chocolate – Powdered Sugar
Here’s a new twist, cream cheese frosting topped with pistachios. It not only has pistachios on top, they are inside too. The yogurt keeps it nice and moist too. I think you’ll be sorry if you don’t try this. That frosting will have you licking your fingers for sure. Wouldn’t it be perfect to make at Christmas time with the natural green and red color of the pistachios?
6. Banana Beet Nut Bread – Savory Spin
I never thought of adding beets to my bread before but I think it’s a great idea. The beets add vitamins but most important, they add moisture. I remember my mother used to make beet cake all the time. It was a chocolate cake so you couldn’t even tell it had beets in it. You couldn’t see them or taste them but they sure make that cake moist. There is no way I’m going to go to the work of buying fresh beets and cooking them and blending them. When I make this, you’ll find me buying a can of beets and throwing them in the blender. I just saved myself about an hour of work, just like that. Drain the juice off first though. It sure is pretty. Remind me of red velvet cake.
7. Banana Chocolate Chip Bread – Bakerita
This bread is made with oat flour. Did you know you can make your own oat flour and it’s soooo easy? All you do is put some old fashioned oats you buy at the grocery store in the blender, turn it on. Walla, you have oat flour. It’s as simple as that. This has fewer chocolate chips than some of the others. That’s something you can customize to your own preferences. It’s also refined sugar-free since it’s made with honey. That’s important to some people. The applesauce also makes it so you don’t need oil or as much honey. This stuff is almost healthy!
8. Banana Chocolate and Peanut Butter Swirl Bread with Pecan Praline – Healthy Nibbles and Bits
Now isn’t this cute!? Striped bread and it isn’t very hard to do either. All you do is divide the batter into two bowls, add the chocolate chips to one bowl. Then just layer them in the baking pan before you bake it. With the cute little stripes and the pecan praline decadence, this is a delightful dessert. And it’s gluten-free too. Wow! This is sure to please the neighbors or the relatives or maybe just you.
9. Banana Bread – A Clean Bake
There is no added sugar here either. This is sweetened with honey and dates. Well, technically in my opinion dates and honey are sugar too. They are just natural sugar, not the nasty refined stuff that isn’t the least bit healthy. The only person that couldn’t or wouldn’t eat this is my mom because she doesn’t eat ANY sugar at all. Not even dates or honey. Her A1C sure has gone down since she started eating that way. That helps her feel a lot better. Yes, she has the willpower of a Saint.
